Four paragraph essay (pair) - President Election 2014

                    Indonesia is a democratic country. Every five years, the position of president is changed. The first ever president of Indonesia was Ir.Soekarno. For the past ten years, Mr Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono better known as SBY had been the president of Indonesia. This year, is the year where fellow Indonesian citizen will need to choose a new candidate as the new president of Indonesia. There are so many candidates this year, including artists and other famous people but mostly are newcomers. There are also many parties that participates in this year's election. The election for for the parties was held in about 9 April 2014 ago  and the party named PDIP won the election leading 5 % from the second party candidate.

                     One of the candidates is Joko Widodo. Joko Widodo better known as Jokowi was the government of Jakarta together with his partner , Basuki better known as Ahok. Jokowi is a member of the party PDIP that won the last legislative election. This year, the head of the party PDIP , Mrs Megawati sent Jokowi as one of the representatives of the party PDIP and as one of the candidates in the president election that will be held during the next 9 July 2014. Jokowi came from Solo, he's a married man with two children, many people said that he became a candidate of the next president election because he did his tasks well as the present government of Jakarta. Jokowi contributed much to the society. Fellow citizens of Jakarta had chosen Jokowi as the best candidate for this years president election. As Jokowi is a low and kind-hearted man, more citizens are supporting him and are voting for him for the 9 July 2014 president election.

                     Another candidate is Rhoma Irama. Rhoma Irama is the icon of trend pop music called dangdut in Indonesia, it is a music genre originally from Indonesia. His participation as one of the candidates of the president election surprised many people as his occupation right now is a dangdut artist. Lots of people gave negative comments towards Rhoma Irama , "How could a dangdut artist lead our country?" "Our country will probably be a dangdut country then" "Say no to the dangdut icon", many people are giving bad comments about Rhoma Irama as the candidate for the president election. However, those negative comments didn't take down his spirit to become indonesia's president. As the time goes, he gained supporters as there are many dangdut lovers in Indonesia and there are also much of his fans. The gain of supporters makes Rhoma Irama's chances become higher as the new president of Indonesia.

                     Many people think that this year's election will be a tough one since there are so many candidates and all of them had high chances to win. Indonesian citizens hope that this year's election will go smoothly as this election decides the leader of Indonesia for the next five years. Governments encourages all people to give their votes during the election so that their voices will not be used by others as an act of cheating. Overall, all indonesians hope that whoever got elected as the new president of Indonesia until the year 2019 could lead Indonesia into a better country and better place to live.
